Well tonight I did a little work on here. Earlier this week I changed my template and in the process I lost the comments. (As if they were ever really used) Well tonight I added them back so hopefully they work. Other then that I just wanted to throw out one of my fav. movie lines.:

Long Time, No Hear

Well how about a break in the norm around here. I just got off the phone with a long time (6 years?) friend. after hearing about the happenings in her life and realising how mine is lacking, for some reason I just had to come here and blog. (if you can call this blogging)

Talking to her made me realize that when I moved down here to make money (8/hour WOO HOO!!!!!), I gave alot up. I didnt realize it at the time but I did. for the most part I gave up friends. We were a small group that didnt do much but we had some one to talk to, hang out with, etc. Now they hang out and I live 2 hours away, dont make enough for gas money, and sit at home watching tv, sitting in frount of my computer just waiting for something to happen.

I have never been a doer. I'm the type who will take things in stride usually. (Work lately has proven this) I dont make things happen. I let them happen. And that my friends is my biggest down fall. That is why after a year and a half in "the big city" the only friends I have made are at work and I usually dont talk to them outside of work. I think that maybe I grew acustom to my old life before I moved here and that made me lazy. Now my lazyness is stopping me from making friends. P3 brings up a good point. Where do you meet people? Do you join clubs? AA/NA? Bars? Neibors? Health Club? or areyou pretty much stuck with peopleyou work with and went to school with? Maybe use them to branch out to other people. If that is so then for the most part by moving away from the town I grew up in, and went to k-12 and comm. college in I screwed my self. nothing but lonelyness for me.

See for me I never really liked to betalking in a group, socialize, I just liked to be there and be a part of something. sure I could go to the bars or clubs and sit back a people watch, but its not the same. Its actually hard for me to explain. I'll save it for later.

I just happened to be bored and was clicking a bunch of links here on the site and came across my profile. I was not aware that I was born in the year of the dog. Updates! Again? You Gotta Be Kidding Me!

Yeah I updated again. Yeah it took me about a month. This time I added more links. I have yet to add the Comics section. I will get to that I just have to pull all the addresses from my bookmarks. Other then that, I was looking around on my site and found that I had some comments. You have no idea how happy i was to see that. Any how, from now on I will try to actually write/rant (I mean look at the title, come on what the hell have I been doing all this time?) here. Friends

I was driving home the other day and was thinking about how good it would be to see all my friends again. Fly Ryan back from vegas and Katie up from Texas. Gather them all up north, have a dinner. I would stand up of course and thank them all, for being able to show up and for helping me become who I am today. I reality I just want to see all of them again, in one place, and well drink and be merry. Ever since I moved down here, I have missed everyone. I suppose I will see a handfull of them come high school reunion time. Well a hand full and then some, but most I will hardly ever see, and some I will never see again.



I got my gmail acct to day I am so freaking happy. I love it! Now if ppl would just e-mail me there...........

Just to bring you up to speed.....

This last weekend I went back to my home town to mow the yeard of the house we are trying to sell up there and to help paint. While up there I ran in to my ex who wanted to drive around and talk about her new bf and ho much she missed me.... yadda yadda yadda. During this straind exchange of words I realized that I kinda missed her, which doesnt surprise me, she was one of my first loves, well the first that I knew loved me back instead of just playing with my head. Any how after that I went to the bowling alley. The hub of all that is exciting in the town. God I hate that place. any how sat there, got mildly drunk, got into discussions involving training horses for races, and football. Two subjects that I know almost nothing about. That was the highlight of the night, scary isnt it. Any how the "alley" closed and it was time to leave. On to the disfunctional house party. While at the party, I got into conversations involving the familys of almost every drunk there, and had to listen to them explain about stuff I already knew. At least after that I was alowed to head to the house and pass out. Driving back sunday night I realized that the reason I watch drama on tv like Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, and The OC is for drama. living up there, it becase a big part of my life that I now need it to continue. I can hear some of you out there in internet land saying real laife isnt that dramatic. Well it was and the story lines changed at least weekly and crossed over all the time. Actually watching all this is nice, I get the drama with out having to realize the impact on my life, nor explain to some one why there life now sucks cuz they screwed up. Although I must admit I do miss being the person that everyone went to when they had a problem

OK, to the one person (counting me) who reads this, I'm sorry for the delay in posts. The test didnt turn out how I had hoped. If you averaged the points over the question I missed by like 3 or 4 I dont really remmeber. Since then I have been brousing blogs on blogger and have found a couple favs that I will share. Plus I will also link the comics that i read and sugest that you (me) check them out some time. Other then that, If I can convince myself and use a little self motovation I'll try to make this a daily blog but an interesting one.

Testing

Well, I finally got signed up for my cisco test. DMACC told me that they had a voucher for me then the didnt even thought I already paid for it. so now they are refunding my money. surprising an extra 5 bucks. So in the end my vocher will cover the whole test payment wich I guess is cool. other then that work still sucks, as well as school. ttyl

Sleep Good !!!!!!!

Yeah I know that the title has a few too many exclamation points, but its true sleep is good. and I need some right now. Hell I'm falling asleep in class as we speak. Even know no one knows me yet I''m going to tell you about the newest way i have decided to help the world. I am going to help the world by finding pi. I would use the little table looking symbol for pi but I dont know how to do that just yet. I will write a simple computer program that will calculate out pi. Maybe I'll get around to it but i doubt it. I need to set up a date to take my CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) exam. That will be fun. 90 minutes of unadulterated hell. Please shoot me now. Well going to sleep now.
